Hourigan is seeking a Scheduler to join our Mission Critical team in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on reviewing blueprints to develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedules throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Construction Management or related field with 2–5 years of general contractor scheduling experience, and proficiency with P6, Phoenix, Textura, Procore, and Bluebeam.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in construction management.
• 2–5 years of experience on related projects for a general contractor with hands-on planning, scheduling, and field management experience.
• Knowledge of drawings, blueprints, planning and scheduling techniques.
• Experience with P6, Phoenix, Textura, Procore, and Bluebeam preferred.
• Experience and knowledge of building construction means and methods, and an understanding of industry practices.
• Strong and effective communication, both verbal and written.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact across the company, with clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Detail oriented with proven ability to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated with ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Review blueprints and drawings to develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan(s) and schedule(s).
• Assist Pursuit Team in developing Proposal Schedules.
• Develop Baseline Schedules and Narratives with Project Team to the appropriate level of detail.
• Assist Project Teams in the use of scheduling software and schedule development.
• Perform weekly and monthly schedule updates with accompanying narratives.
• Coordinate and integrate schedule input from internal and external sources for a fully integrated plan.
• Generate reports, review progress, evaluate variances, and develop workarounds as needed.
• Communicate schedule issues and impacts to project leadership and enforce scheduling policies.
• Cost and resource loading and updating as required by the project.
• Commit to safety practices within the SHMS and perform other duties as assigned.
