Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking an Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent to support the Mission Critical projects in Houston, TX. This role works with the project manager to maintain schedules, supervise field staff and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality standards on busy, occupied spaces.

Responsibilities include maintaining daily logs, coordinating with subcontractors, expediting long-lead items, and guiding punch lists through closeout with owners and architects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 4-year degree preferred.
• 2-5 years experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with occupied spaces and fast-paced projects.
• Experience with project leads is a plus.
• Ability to master ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support project manager to formulate the project schedule.
• Maintain daily documentation of work orders and site conditions.
• Manage punch list and closeout with owner/architect.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and field staff.
• Ensure safety program compliance and incident reporting.
