Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support Government Mission Critical projects. You will help plan, schedule, and oversee field activities, maintain daily site records, and manage closeout with the owner and architect.

A strong safety mindset and coordination with subcontractors are essential. The role requires a high school diploma, with a four-year degree preferred, and 2–5 years in commercial construction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree is strongly preferred in construction, engineering, or business.
• 2–5 years’ experience in commercial construction; tenant renovations and occupied spaces are a plus.
• Experience with schedule, safety programs, and subcontractor coordination is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support project scheduling with the project manager and follow installation sequencing.
• Maintain accurate daily documentation of work orders and site conditions.
• Manage punch list and closeout process through owner/architect acceptance.
• Uphold HITT safety programs and report incidents promptly.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, fostering fair treatment and good relationships.
