Job summary

Stantec in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Civil Engineer focused on Mission Critical Data Center projects within our Community Development Group. This role offers exposure to data center projects nationwide and a core design team delivering site design, permitting, and construction documentation across multiple regions.

You will lead civil design tasks, coordinate with project teams, perform quantity estimates, and ensure quality through QA/QC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil design for data center or major commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil design and technical tasks under PM/Lead Engineer supervision.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants and owners.
• Prepare site plans, grading plans, utility plans, diagrams and details.
