Job summary

CoAspire, LLC is seeking an Engineering Planner to support a prototype-to-production line of missile systems. You will develop IMS in MS Project, coordinate with program management, design engineering, and production teams, and track milestones to ensure schedules align with contractual objectives.

The role requires 5+ years in defense program planning, strong MS Project skills, and knowledge of EVM/IMP-IMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in program planning within the defense or aerospace industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and scheduling best practices.
• Strong understanding of missile defense systems and DoD acquisition processes.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Integrated Master Plan/Schedule (IMP/IMS).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project for missile defense programs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate task sequencing, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
• Monitor schedule performance, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present schedule status reports to program leadership and stakeholders.
• Support Earned Value Management (EVM) and DoD planning standards compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to align schedules with technical requirements.
