Job summary

Red 6 is seeking a Program Planner to join the PMO in Louisville, CO to support planning, scheduling, and execution of advanced defense programs. You will develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), support EVMS activities, and ensure alignment with cost, schedule, and technical objectives.

You will collaborate with program managers, engineers, and functional leads, coordinate schedule updates across disciplines, perform risk assessments, support WBS development per MIL-STD-881, and

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience supporting program planning, project controls, scheduling, or program management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software.
• Understanding Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS) principles.
• Working knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles.
• Ability to interpret technical information and translate it into executable program schedules.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze IMS supporting engineering development and production activities.
• Coordinate schedule updates across engineering, systems, software, testing, manufacturing, and program management organizations.
• Ensure schedule logic, dependencies, milestones, and progress accurately reflect program execution.
• Support EVMS processes and maintain schedule data supporting program performance measurement.
• Assist in developing and maintaining WBS in accordance with MIL-STD-881.
• Support schedule integration with Control Accounts, organizational planning, and program baselines.
• Perform schedule risk assessments, critical path analysis, and what-if planning to identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare schedule metrics and program performance information for leadership, customer reviews, and IPMDAR deliverables.
• Maintain schedule configuration control and documentation supporting baseline change management.
• Support compliance with DoD program management standards.
