Job summary

Arlington/Roe & Co. is seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager for the Nebraska territory. The role focuses on increasing agents’ awareness of Personal Lines, Commercial Lines binding authority products, and Professional Liability, while educating them on other department offerings.

The position requires travel and 5+ years of P&C experience, with a preference for Excess & Surplus Lines exposure. The successful candidate must be based in Nebraska, ideally Omaha or Lincoln, and will join our

Responsibilities

  • Develop growth plans for Nebraska with the underwriting team.
  • Initiate and maintain relationships with NE agents through visits, phone calls, and email communication while tracking their production.
  • Appoint and onboard new agency partners for NE.
  • Provide agency training for company online systems, products, and procedures.
  • Develop tiers of agents in the state and identify key partners and high-potential agencies requiring quarterly contact.
  • Create and implement strategies to increase new business production and hit ratios.
  • Travel with the NE underwriting team for association meetings and agency visits.
  • Serve as a liaison to the NE underwriting and production leadership teams to maintain open communication for growth opportunities.
  • Engage with Arlington/Roe core carriers and trade associations to extend brand presence in the state.
  • Assist and handle agency management projects for the territory.
  • Manage positive and negative agency performance.
  • Assist the Accounting Department as needed for agency collection issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Arlington/Roe, a family-owned property/casualty wholesaler and managing general agency since 1964, has an outstanding opportunity for a Sales & Marketing Manager within our Marketing department. Arlington/Roe has over 250 employees located predominately throughout the Midwest. We are a sales and customer service insurance organization that operates with the utmost integrity. A national leader in the wholesale/managing general agency arena, our company is respected and valued by the insurance agents we serve and insurance carriers we represent.

We are seeking candidates who have the ability to travel around the territory, make outbound phone calls, and have approximately 5+ years of Property and Casualty Insurance experience. This individual will be responsible for focusing a majority of their time and attention on increasing agents’ awareness and knowledge of Arlington/Roe’s various areas including Personal Lines, Commercial Lines binding authority products, and Professional Liability products but also educate them on our other department offerings. Excess and Surplus Lines experience is preferred. Candidate must be based in Nebraska, with a preference for candidates located in the Omaha or Lincoln areas.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required. Insurance licensing and/or designations preferred.
