Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a training-focused professional for our Bagdad operations in Arizona. The role trains employees in safety, compliance and operations using pre-developed materials and hands-on methods.

You will assess on-the-job skills, mentor staff, and maintain accurate training records within the LMS. Collaboration with operations teams ensures training remains aligned to workforce needs and standards.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED with 7 years in training or leading teams in a relevant field.
• Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of related work experience.
• Technical competence equivalent to an experienced operator or journeyman in mining/industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers hands-on and classroom training.
• Assesses employees’ on-the-job skills for safe, effective performance.
• Maintains training records in the LMS and supports trainer staff.
• Collaborates with Operations and Maintenance to align training with needs.
