Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus five years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical mining related discipline with at least one summer internship in mining or industrial environment, including supervisory or lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the safe operation of an assigned work unit.
• Assign and review staff work and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Implement production plans according to approved schedule.
• Inspect progress, identify issues and direct remedial action as needed.
• Conduct performance evaluations and manage staffing and equipment needs.
