Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a Supervisor of Maintenance to lead and coordinate the safe, efficient operation of a maintenance work unit at the Bagdad site. You will supervise staff, implement production plans, and ensure safety compliance in a high-demand mineral processing environment.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of supervisory operational experience or a technical mining degree with internship exposure, and be able to manage resources, train staff, and uphold safety standards in a 24/7

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with five years of related operational and supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical mining-related discipline with at least one summer internship or equivalent in mining/industrial environment including supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and control safe and efficient operation of an assigned work unit.
• Assign, supervise and review staff work; implement production plans per schedules.
• Inspect and evaluate progress, identify issues and direct remedial action; prepare staffing/material/equipment estimates.
• Maintain safety data sheets and train staff in safety procedures; manage time, materials and equipment use reports.
