Job summary

Sedgman is seeking a Study Manager, Mining to join our Phoenix, AZ office. The ideal candidate will lead studies from concept to feasibility, coordinating planning, execution and reporting.

You will manage client relationships, budgets, schedules, and coordinate consultants across geology, environmental, and other disciplines, bridging technical teams with BD and stakeholders. This role offers growth in the critical minerals space, with opportunities to advance studies through to execution and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in a relevant discipline with study leadership experience.
• EGBC P.Eng. certification is an asset.
• 10+ years in project study development, engineering or related mining work.
• 3+ years continuous experience in a Study Leader role.
• Strong written and verbal communication; client experience with mining projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals and tenders with the aim of winning and converting work to execution.
• Develop and deliver robust studies and tenders within budget and schedule.
• Build and maintain a study team and coordinate input from departments and external consultants.
• Maintain professional client relationships and update CRM with opportunities and feedback.
• Handover studies and development work to the next execution phase.
