Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. in Denver, CO seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead studies from IA to Feasibility, coordinating mining, processing, infrastructure, and capital projects.

You will manage technical workstreams, engage consultants, and ensure deliverables meet schedule, budget, and quality goals. Collaboration with Exploration, Technical Services, Operations, Projects, Environment, Permitting, and Finance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline related to mining or processing.
• PE designation preferred; registration a plus.
• 12+ years in mining, minerals processing, or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience guiding studies through IA, Pre-feasibility and Feasibility stages.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary studies from IA through Feasibility Stage.
• Develop scopes and manage consultant engagement within budget and quality.
• Coordinate internal/external resources for IA, Pre-feasibility and Feasibility studies.
• Document and present IA/Concept/Pre-feasibility/Feasibility results.
• Develop site economic filters and support strategic planning.
• Monitor study progress, risks, and cost assumptions.
• Prepare technical reports, memos, and executive presentations.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
