This position is an on-site, 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. Candidates must be eligible to work in St. Louis, Missouri without requiring H-1B visa sponsorship. The hourly rate is $41.38, W2 + paid holidays through Talent Table. NO Corp-to-Corp.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage an off-site test hub that operates Bitcoin mining rigs.
2. Run day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth operation of the test hub (monitor device performance, examine environmental parameters such as temperature and power, review logs, and document/report any issues).
3. Be on-site as needed for troubleshooting and responding to requests from software, firmware, and electrical engineering teams.
4. Address building site issues.
5. Manage communication with third-party suppliers and service providers, such as utilities and office management.
6. Collect operational data and metrics for the hub and share them with the rest of the mining team.
7. Manage an electronic hardware lab dedicated to Bitcoin mining.
8. Assemble, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic components and systems used by the software development team.
9. Source replacement parts for electronic systems.
10. Provide hands-on debugging of the client’s latest mining products.

Skills:

1. 5+ years of experience in electronics testing, technician roles, and/or the manufacturing industry.
2. Experience with electronics lab measurements and test equipment.
3. Proficiency in soldering, troubleshooting electronic circuits, rework, and debugging hardware.
4. Familiarity with the command-line interface, basic shell scripting, and navigating the Linux file system.
5. Skilled in using various tools to update and maintain software components of hardware systems.

Nice to have

1. Knowledge of Bitcoin.
2. Familiarity with Bitcoin mining operations.
3. Experience in high-performance computing (HPC), data centers, or server environments.
4. Understanding of computer networking, equipment, tools, and concepts.
5. Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
