Job summary

AECOM is actively searching for an experienced Mining Proposal Manager to work with our global mining team based in Lima, Peru or Charlotte, NC. You will lead proposals and presentations from pre-RFP positioning through interview, guiding proposal teams across mining, environmental, infrastructure, and water contracts.

The ideal candidate will bring LATAM and U.S.-based proposal experience, exceptional proposal writing and leadership skills, and a proven record in compliance, capture, and win

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Previous experience leading business proposals in the environmental, infrastructure, or mining sectors.
• Working knowledge of the A/E industry, including AECOM’s mining related clients, projects, people, credentials, and competitors.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex, priority must-win proposals from capture through to interview stage.
• Provide robust capture planning support and guidance to capture managers.
• Coach interview, Q&A and team preparation for global or must-win opportunities.
• Facilitate color reviews (Pink and Red) and apply lessons learned to the proposal and win plan.
• Serve as a compliance reviewer and reviewer on color reviews for priority pursuits.
• Participate in Go/No-Go decisions and drive capture planning and positioning activities.
• Analyze debriefs and apply lessons learned to strategy and reviews.
• Contribute to leadership and strategic direction for proposals and report client pipeline and strategies.
