TKDA is seeking an experienced Mechanical Group Manager for the Mining division in Bloomington, MN. You will lead the Mining Mechanical team, drive growth, manage budgets, and provide technical guidance across project lifecycles.

The role requires a PE and 15+ years in design, with strong leadership, communication, and client-relations skills. Hybrid work with regular travel supports this Senior position in a 100% employee‑owned firm.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer with 15+ years of progressive design experience in commercial and industrial systems.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and coaching engineers, designers, and technicians.
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of preparing technical reports and client proposals.

Responsibilities

• Grow and lead the Mining Mechanical team; drive project execution and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance across full project lifecycles and act as lead mechanical engineer when needed.
• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams and client representatives to pursue and win projects.
