• 4–6 years of management accounting or similar experience.
• Mining sector experience essential; understanding mining costs.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel.
• ERP experience (SAP) a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Hybrid work arrangement; commuting to Welkom, Free State required.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts, including variance reports and commentary.
• Develop and manage the annual budget and rolling forecasts with department heads.
• Provide financial support and analysis for operational decision-making.
• Develop and monitor KPIs relevant to mining operations.
• Assist in financial models and business cases for capex and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data used for reporting.
• Streamline and improve financial reporting processes.
• Collaborate with the financial controller and finance team.
• Maintain relationships with operational teams to understand business drivers.
