Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America offers an on-site internship at multiple aggregate sites across the United States. You will gain exposure to quarry, plant, and production processes while supporting improvement projects.

Participants collect and analyze data, report opportunities for process enhancements, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams on site-based initiatives. Travel to various sites is required.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Interest in industrial operations, manufacturing, mining, construction materials, or related environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to interpret data and identify improvements.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across diverse teams and locations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to multiple aggregate sites and work in a dynamic field environment.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

This internship involves hands‑on experience at active aggregate mining sites. Interns should be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and navigating rugged terrain and heavy equipment areas.
