Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America offers an internship program at our Davis, OK site that blends office and field work. You will participate in project tasks and support production objectives alongside experienced engineers and operators.

This paid internship emphasizes hands-on learning in mining-related disciplines and exposure to quarry operations, safety, maintenance, and quality processes within a large materials organization.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a degree in Mining Engineering or Geology.
• Strong work ethic, with adaptability and flexibility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Apply your education in the field to support and participate in assigned project work.
• Support plant operations in achieving production goals with engineers, managers, and production staff across departments.
• Complete technical projects to understand quarry or aggregate site operations.
• Learn the mission of production, maintenance and quality departments and their functions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental regulations and company policies.
