Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Southeast Agg LLC offers an internship in the Aggregates division, with hands-on experience at active mining sites. You will visit multiple aggregate operations to learn quarry, plant, and production processes, while supporting safety, efficiency, quality, and sustainability initiatives.

You will collect and analyze data to identify process improvements, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams on site.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated interest in industrial operations, manufacturing, mining, construction materials, or related environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to interpret data and identify improvements.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across diverse teams and locations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to multiple aggregate sites and work in a dynamic field environment.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Visit multiple aggregate operations to gain exposure to quarry, plant, and production processes.

  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality control, and leadership teams on site-based initiatives.

What Are We Looking For

Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

  • Demonstrated interest in industrial operations, manufacturing, mining, construction materials, or related environments.

Work Environment
  • This internship involves hands‑on experience at active aggregate mining sites.
  • Interns should be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and navigating rugged terrain and heavy equipment areas.
