Job summary

Aquatech is a global leader in water purification systems technology, headquartered in the United States, serving industrial and infrastructure markets. Aquatech seeks a Director of Business Development to lead North American Mining initiatives, building strategic relationships and delivering capital equipment and long-term services to mining clients.

The role requires deep mining industry knowledge, regulatory insight, and a proven consultative sales track record.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in direct sales and/or operational consulting to North America Mining industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Business, or Engineering.
• Travel: Approximately 50% of time

Responsibilities

• Responsible for North American Mining business development.
• Develop new business opportunities for water & wastewater treatment solutions to Corporate Mining clients across North America.
• Develop strategic sales plans for individual Mining accounts, mapping key accounts and geographies to specific Aquatech portfolio offerings.
• Have in-depth knowledge of end-user and corporate level selling techniques including prospecting, opportunity generation, relationship selling and strategic selling closing.
• Able to work effectively in a highly energetic and multiple-engagement environment, dedicated to teamwork, strong work initiative, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.
• Maintain strongly positive relations with key and primary client accounts.
