Job summary

Aquatech is seeking a Director of Build Own & Operate North America to lead end-to-end development of water, mining, and critical minerals projects from concept to financial close. This fully remote role requires hands-on management of technical, commercial, and regulatory activities and up to 30% travel.

Responsibilities include origination, feasibility analyses, stakeholder management, and securing project finance, with a strong focus on strategic partnerships and deal execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• 15+ years infrastructure project development experience.
• Experience drafting term sheets, EPC contracts, and offtake agreements.

Responsibilities

• Identify greenfield/brownfield opportunities in water, mining and minerals projects.
• Screen leads, build a deal pipeline, and advance opportunities to bankable projects.
• Lead feasibility studies, financial modelling, and regulatory permit efforts.
• Interface with CFOs, lenders, and investors to secure financing and close deals.
