Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Mine Technical Services Manager for the Western US, based in one of our Western US offices. You will lead North American geology, mining, advisory services, and mineral processing teams, delivering technical and economic solutions across energy, mining, and processing sectors.

The role requires deep mining project leadership, with travel ~10%, and collaboration with global teams to drive studies from concept to feasibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BS in Mining Engineering from an accredited university.
• An MBA is viewed as an asset.
• Minimum of 20 years of relevant study/project and/or program management experience.
• Existing professional registration is preferred or ability to pursue during the first year of employment (PE, PG, and/or QP).

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team of mining engineers, geologists, economists, and designers through studies from high-level concepts to execution.
• Engage in business development with a focus on external relationships and key clients.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to present progress and outcomes; supervise junior staff and mentor talent.
