Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Mine Technical Services Manager for the Western US, based in one of our offices. You will lead North American geology, mining, advisory services, and mineral processing teams, delivering technical and economic solutions across diverse commodities and project phases.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, business development, and client engagement. Expect travel (~10%), and a path to advance within a growing practice at Stantec.

Qualifications

• M.S. in Mining Engineering or related field is preferred to count

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a team of mining professionals across studies from high level to Definitive Feasibility.
• Engage in business development with external relationships and key clients.
• Provide technical leadership on multi-disciplinary mining projects and QA/QC.
• Interface with clients on project technical issues and present study findings.
• Manage scope definition and execution planning with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior staff and assist with hiring new talent.
• Travel domestically and internationally (~10%).
