Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Mine Technical Services Manager for a Western US presence, based in one of our offices. You will lead North American resource geology, mining, and advisory teams, delivering technical solutions and supporting business development for diverse clients in energy, mining, and processing sectors.

You will mentor professionals, manage complex projects, and collaborate across internal and external stakeholders while traveling ~10% to client sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. in Mining Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
• A Master of Business Administration degree, while not necessary, is viewed as an asset.
• A minimum of 20 years of relevant study/project and/or program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and direct a team of professionals in planning and executing project work from high level studies through full execution.
• Engage in business development with a focus on external relationships and key clients.
• Contribute to an innovative and collaborative work environment where creativity and performance are valued and encouraged.
• Regularly interface with clients on project technical issues.
• Serve as a program manager, account manager, and/or project sponsor on key accounts and projects.
