Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Mine Remediation Lead to be based in the western United States (AZ, CA, CO, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT) in a full-time role. The position focuses on building and leading a Mine remediation practice, guiding project delivery, and expanding business opportunities within regulatory frameworks.

The ideal candidate will bring major project delivery experience, strong regulatory connections, and a passion for mentoring staff while maintaining AECOM’s safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline with 10+ years of experience, including 2 years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead mine remediation solutions for public and private sector clients.
• Identify growth opportunities and hire to expand the mine remediation practice.
• Coordinate diverse technical teams to meet regulatory and technical requirements.
• Review technical work plans, data, and cost estimates; conduct feasibility studies.
• Deliver projects on budget, quality, and schedule; manage client relationships.
