AECOM is seeking a Mine Remediation Lead to be based in the western United States (AZ, CA, CO, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT). This full-time role leads a Mine remediation group, supporting business development and project execution while mentoring staff.

Preference for CERCLA program experience and strong regulatory connections. You will build technical teams, manage safety and deliver remediation projects across public and private sectors, collaborating with hydrologists, engineers, and cost specialists

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or science with 10+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency, including 2 years of leadership.
• US Citizenship is required.

Aufgaben

• Work closely with US and international personnel to develop and implement Mine remedial solutions for public and private sector clients that meet regulatory requirements and protect health and the environment.
• Identify growth opportunities, advise on growth strategies and hire to expand the mine remediation practice.
• Collaborate with diverse technical teams (hydrologists, geochemists, engineers, cost estimators, etc.) to develop remedial solutions meeting regulatory requirements.
• Review technical work plans and cost estimates; interpret data; conduct remediation/closure technology evaluations and feasibility studies.
• Manage projects technically and financially to meet budget, quality and schedule commitments.
• Develop proposals, project teams and cost estimates; deliver projects and provide technical reviews of regulatory submissions.
• Periodically visit mines to support client relationships, proposal development and project delivery.
• Engage in business-development activities, maintain client relationships, track leads, develop proposals and presentations.

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science disciplines

Master’s degree or 20+ years of experience
