Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Mine Remediation Lead to be based in the western United States. This full-time role builds and leads a Mine Remediation practice, supports business development and project execution.

We are looking for a leader with strong technical expertise and a proven ability to grow a team while delivering safe and compliant remediation solutions. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, oversee regulatory compliance, mentor staff, and drive growth through client relationships and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Geotechnical/Environmental engineering or geology + 10 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in leadership.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement mine remediation solutions meeting regulatory requirements.
• Identify growth opportunities and expand the mine remediation practice.
• Coordinate with hydrologists, geochemists, engineers to deliver remedial projects.
• Review work plans, cost estimates, and regulatory submissions.
• Manage projects on budget, quality, and schedule.
• Lead business development and client relationship activities.
