Job summary

AECOM seeks a Mine Remediation Lead to build and lead a Western U.S.-based practice (AZ, CA, CO, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT). This full-time role focuses on growing business, guiding project delivery, and mentoring technical staff in mine remediation with CERCLA/RCRA considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental engineering or geology/hydrogeology with 10+ years of experience and 2 years in leadership.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement mine remedial solutions meeting regulatory requirements.
• Lead and build the mine remediation practice and mentor staff.
• Manage projects with budget, quality, and schedule commitments.
• Lead proposals, teams, and cost estimates for remediation projects.
• Engage in stakeholder communications and client relationship building.
