Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Seven years of progressively responsible underground mining experience with frontline supervisory or higher leadership experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in mining, mining engineering, safety, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline Supervisors and Dispatch to safely deliver daily and weekly operating commitments across production, development, backfill, and haulage.
• Verify crew readiness, equipment allocation, work-fronts, and plan handoffs; remove barriers and ensure timely feedback to planning leaders.
• Direct supervisors by setting expectations, documenting coaching, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and critical controls.
• Maintain MSHA compliance, perform workplace examinations, and coordinate incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Monitor field risk, stop work when necessary, and escalate deficiencies to maintain project priorities and safety.
• Provide validated execution actuals and post-shift reports for performance reviews and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
