Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a General Foreman for Concentrator Support & Maintenance at the Stillwater Mine, Nye, MT. The role leads the concentrator, surface haulage, and TSF capping/IBWR activities, translating multi-month plans into weekly tasks for supervisors and ensuring safety, efficiency, and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five+ years of progressive concentrator, mineral-processing, metallurgical, or closely related heavy-industrial operations experience.
• At least two years of frontline supervisory or equivalent leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of concentrator processes and related equipment.
• Experience with mine-safety, environment, energy-isolation, and operating procedures.
• Degrees preferred in metallurgy, mineral processing, chemical or mining engineering, or related field.
• Experience using SAP, JDE, Oracle, or process-control systems preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead safe, compliant operation of the concentrator, surface haulage, and TSF capping/IBWR. Translate plans into executable weekly tasks for supervisors.
• Set safety and environmental priorities for planning horizons and ensure hazards, permits, and procedures are included in weekly plans.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA, permits, company standards, and training requirements.
• Confirm staff have tools, training, and qualifications for upcoming work.
• Establish expectations, authority, and escalation for supervisors and direct reports.
• Hold supervisors accountable for translating plans into daily shift assignments and safe execution.
• Maintain staffing and qualifications across the planning horizon, addressing vacancies and contractor needs.
• Apply company policy, CBAs, and labor relations practices consistently.
• Maintain standards for crushing, conveying, grinding, classification, flotation, reagents, slurry, filtration, and water systems.
• Coordinate access, shutdowns, start-ups, commissioning, and production impacts with maintenance and engineering.
• Authorize changes to priorities, staffing, and contractor use within delegated authority.
• Develop annual concentrator operating budget with credible labor, materials, and energy cost assumptions.
• Manage resources within approved budgets and monitor cost and performance impacts.
• Evaluate forecast accuracy and address variances in safety, throughput, quality, availability, and cost.
• Communicate plant status and risks across shifts and departments.
