Job summary

D7 Pneumatics LLC is seeking a highly skilled Millwright with welding capabilities for our maintenance division during fall shutdowns. The role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial machinery across steel mills and related facilities in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has a Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience, strong MIG/TIG/STICK welding, and a solid understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic

Qualifications

• Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Industrial maintenance experience in steel mills, sawmills, or power plants.
• Strong welding experience MIG, TIG, and Stick across multiple materials.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting heavy parts.
• Commitment to safety protocols and a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and install industrial machinery across steel mills.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, conveyors, crushers, pumps, motors, gearboxes.
• Perform welding and fabrication; inspect welds for quality.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Assist with installation, alignment, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and management to resolve issues.
• Apply troubleshooting to identify failures and implement solutions.
