Job summary

D7 Pneumatics LLC is seeking a skilled Millwright with welding capabilities to join our maintenance division for scheduled fall shutdowns. The role covers maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial machinery across mills and automotive/prod lines.

The successful candidate will have a Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience, strong MIG/TIG/Stick welding skills, and a solid grasp of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electricals.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in steel mills, sawmills, and power plants.
• Strong MIG, TIG, and Stick welding experience.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.
• Physically demanding environment, ability to lift heavy parts.
• Adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and conveyors.
• Perform MIG/TIG/Stick welding for repairs and fabrication.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and management.
• Apply strong troubleshooting to identify failures and implement solutions.
