D7 Pneumatics LLC is seeking a highly skilled Millwright with strong welding capabilities to join our maintenance division for scheduled fall shutdowns. The role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial machinery across multiple facilities, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in steel mills, sawmills, and power plants.
• Strong welding experience (MIG, TIG, Stick) with various materials (steel, stainless).
• Deep understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces, high elevations, and extreme temperatures.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repairs: troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment, conveyor systems, crushers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and other industrial machinery across facilities.
• Welding and fabrication: perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding for repairs and fabrication of parts and equipment; conduct welding inspections.
• Preventative maintenance: develop and implement maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Installation and commissioning: assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Safety and compliance: follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements at all times.
• Collaboration: work with maintenance technicians, engineers, and management to resolve issues efficiently.
• Problem solving: apply troubleshooting skills to identify failures and implement solutions.
