OxyChem is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor – Millwrights for the La Porte VCM Plant in La Porte, Texas. You will lead maintenance activities, coordinate with multiple teams, and drive reliability while ensuring safety and environmental compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires hands-on supervision, strong communication, and the ability to respond to emergencies after hours.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2–3 years in manufacturing
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
• Ability to respond to off-hour emergencies

Aufgaben

• Set priorities on maintenance activities to assure continuing plant operations with minimum downtime and manage key maintenance metrics.
• Coordinate with Production, Technical and other Maintenance groups to ensure accurate, efficient completion of maintenance activities.
• Assign jobs and provide field supervision to maintenance technicians on daily work activities and plant outages.
• Lead and coach the maintenance technicians to ensure work is performed according to the job plan.
• Oversee HVAC systems, manage contractors, and oversee refrigerant program.
