LyondellBasell is seeking a First Line Supervisor to coordinate, direct and manage daily maintenance activities at the La Porte site. You will ensure safe, efficient and reliable execution of tasks to satisfy customer requirements, regulatory obligations, and performance targets.

A strong maintenance background and leadership experience are essential. You will lead a team through safety-focused practices, collaborate with engineering for process improvements, and manage budget and overtime costs

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years as a Maintenance Millwright in petrochemical industry.
• Step-Up Supervisor or equivalent leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to supervise and motivate others with strong leadership and teamwork.
• Willing to work 12-hour, 7-day rotating shifts, weekends/holidays as needed.
• Understand and adhere to environmental, health, safety, security and quality policies.
• Strong computer skills including SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Follows up daily to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and site procedures.
• Ensures resources are available for safe, reliable operation and maintenance of site assets.
• Monitors performance indicators, schedules, and acts on deviations.
• Collaborates with engineering to identify problems and implement improvements.
• Drives performance to the business plan and ensures adherence to site standards.
• Oversees hiring, promotions, and performance discussions with a bias-free approach.
• Communicates effectively between shift teams and management.
• Administers company policies and procedures and supports continuous improvement.
