Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Manager to lead 5 direct reports and oversee 8-10 indirect staff, driving efficient material flow at the La Porte site. You will optimize stock, implement SAP MM processes, and partner with Procurement to meet essential material needs.

You will drive continuous improvement, ensure accurate inventories, manage kitting, staging, and on-site storage, and mentor cross-functional teams to support reliable plant operations and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in maintenance in petrochemical/refining or 5+ years with a related bachelor's.
• Knowledge of Materials Inventory Best Practices, Vendor Stocking, and Supply Chain Management.
• Strong computer skills with Excel; SAP proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5 direct and 8–10 indirect reports in warehouse operations.
• Coordinate material strategy with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability and other plant disciplines.
• Identify obsolete inventory and optimize replacement or tuning opportunities.
• Oversee SAP MM processes and MDG data governance.
• Ensure accurate physical inventories and compliance with policies.
• Support procurement for critical materials and emergency work activities.
