Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right home improvement solutions. You’ll become a product expert, explain specifications and financing options, and help close sales while delivering exceptional service across various Lowe’s departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with sales goals or metrics.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs.
• Support and fund sales-related licensure/registration if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department.
• In the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors to restock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and in-department requests for assistance.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development.
• Complete other duties as assigned
