Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to be the first point of contact for customers, helping them identify products and turn project ideas into reality. You will become a product expert, discuss specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales in departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more.

You will support customers with estimates, scheduling, and order tracking while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external experience if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service in a sales environment with goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, handle estimates, installations, orders, and follow-up.
• Pro Department: focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock replacement.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing/documentation.
• Support checkout functions and store communications.
• Train department associates on the Sales floor and coach development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
