Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist who will be one of the first people our customers meet. You’ll apply sales expertise to help customers find products and transform ideas into reality, working across departments to close sales and support home improvement goals.

You’ll become the product expert, explaining specifications, features, and financing options while delivering consultative service to ensure customer needs are met before checkout.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by identifying customer needs and highlighting Lowe's product advantages.
• Act as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates, installer visits, orders, and follow-ups.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors/stores to restock merchandise.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout and department requests; assist as needed.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
