Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, assess project needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You will become the product expert, explaining features, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

This role involves working across store departments and delivering exceptional customer service on the sales floor. You will handle estimates, orders, and installation coordination while supporting checkout and store operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or with accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure/registration if required by state; Lowe's will support.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors, provide estimates, schedule installs, and track orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock.
