Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe's retail if education requirement not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals or metrics.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods; lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state; Lowe's will support and fund this.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by seeking out customers to understand their needs and communicate product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, providing estimates, scheduling installer visits, processing orders, and following up for completion.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and store communications.
• Train associates in the department and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
