Job summary

The Copper River Family of Companies is seeking a reliable Medical Appointment Clerk to support the on-call primary Clerk at Wright-Patterson AFB. You will help schedule appointments, verify eligibility, and keep patient schedules accurate to ensure timely access to care in line with MTf guidelines.

This role requires meticulous record-keeping, ability to use government systems, and clear communication with patients and clinic staff to coordinate care efficiently and compliantly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
• GENESIS Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule medical appointments via phone, secure messaging, or other approved request methods.
• Validate patient eligibility through DEERS and update demographic information.
• Maintain appointment schedules using government medical systems (CHCS/AHLTA/MHS GENESIS).
• Register new patients, including newborns, as needed.
• Keep patient schedules and logs accurate and up to date; manage slot bookings and cancellations.
• Communicate appointment details and reminders to patients and clinic staff.
