Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources, Inc. seeks a Medical Appointment Clerk to support Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. The role schedules primary and specialty care appointments in a government system and handles calls and secure messages to manage bookings.

Full-time, Monday–Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401K, PTO, and the opportunity to care for America’s active troops and their families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM.
• Clear English communication skills.
• Experience using standard office equipment.
• Good medical ethics and customer service.
• At least 6 months in medical office scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments in a government computer system for primary, specialty, and subspecialty care.
• Call patients or respond to secure messages to manage bookings, reschedules, and cancellations.
• Arrange consult/referral appointments within MTF or civilian facilities.
