Valor Healthcare, Inc. in Camp Lejeune, NC seeks a Psychiatric Technician to provide behavioral health support and assist with care for individuals facing psychiatric, substance abuse, and psychological challenges under supervision of licensed professionals.

You will handle intakes, counseling, data management, and program coordination, supporting Family Advocacy and related health programs while aligning with command family support organizations.

Formación

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a psychiatric / mental health program assistant.
• Associate Degree or commensurate level of training for respective position.
• If military trained must be as a mental health technician / specialist.
• Must be willing to receive specialized training on peer support counseling, community resources and referrals and suicide prevention.
• Extensive knowledge of DoD, Service and community social service, family support, and behavioral healthcare resources.
• Must be able to hold and maintain a government security clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsabilidades

• Provide behavioral health interventions under supervision of licensed behavioral health professionals.
• Conduct patient intakes and counsel clients with personal or psychological problems.
• Maintain and update computerized databases and prepare statistical reports.
• Coordinate with family support organizations and assist with program development and resource management.
• Support Family Advocacy and Behavioral Health programs and assist with case reviews and committee meetings.
• Ensure operations stay within budget and develop inventory and property management processes.
