Job summary

ERP International, LLC seeks a full-time Psychiatric Technician to support Inpatient Mental Health at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, NC. The HCW will perform assessments, provide education, and support therapeutic milieu under clinical supervision.

Core duties include monitoring patients, leading groups, documenting care, and coordinating with military/community agencies. A valid Psychiatric Technician credential and 1 year of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a Psychiatric Technician in a mental health setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct or assist in treatment and rehabilitation of patients; perform basic assessment procedures including mental status exams and substance abuse evaluations.
• Identify mental health diagnoses and provide patient education.
• Observe and report patient progress; assist in counseling and milieu activities.
• Institute precautionary measures to prevent patient injury or suicide; assist with care and comfort measures.
• Coordinate with military and civilian agencies to obtain collateral information and facilitate referrals.
