Valor Healthcare, Inc. in Hurlburt Field, FL is seeking a Psychiatric Technician to provide behavioral health support under supervision of licensed professionals.

You will conduct intakes, counsel clients, maintain patient databases, and assist with program operations. This full-time role coordinates with Family Advocacy and Behavioral Health programs and supports with resource management and program development.

Formación

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a psychiatric / mental health program assistant.
• Associate Degree or commensurate level of training for respective position.
• If military trained must be as a mental health technician / specialist.
• Must be willing to receive specialized training on peer support counseling, community resources and referrals and suicide prevention.
• Extensive knowledge of DoD, Service and community social service, family support, and behavioral healthcare resources.
• Must be able to hold and maintain a government security clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a wide range of behavioral health interventions under supervision.
• Conduct patient intakes and counsel clients with personal, behavioral or psychological problems.
• Maintain computerized databases and prepare monthly statistical reports.
• Support Family Advocacy and Behavioral Health programs and coordinate with command family support organizations.
• Assist with program development, resource management and process improvement initiatives.
• Review operations to ensure budget compliance and maintain property and inventory.

Conocimientos

Psychiatric/mental health experience

Security clearance eligibility

Three years of experience

US citizenship
