Job summary

North Wind Design seeks a Construction Integrator to lead and coordinate on-site quality assurance for MILCON projects. You will oversee CQA Inspectors, ensure compliance with plans, specs, and codes, and act as the liaison among project teams and government representatives.

The role requires strong QA knowledge, experience with DoD programs, and ability to manage multiple inspection activities across projects, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• 8+ years in construction management/inspection/QA/engineering.
• 5+ years supporting DoD/MILCON programs and USACE/NAVFAC.
• Experience coordinating CQA inspectors and QA activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage on-site CQA Inspectors across MILCON projects.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with plans and codes.
• Review daily inspection reports and deficiency logs for accuracy.
• Serve as liaison among project management, contractors, designers, and government reps.
• Develop and maintain inspection schedules and coverage across phases.
• Identify QA issues and coordinate timely resolutions with stakeholders.
• Participate in pre-construction, progress, and QC meetings; support closeout.
• Verify contractor compliance with submittals and sequencing.
• Provide routine QA updates to leadership; track punch lists and corrective actions.
• Assist with RFIs, change orders, and related docs.
• Maintain QA records as required by client/organization.
• Support project acceptance, turnover, and closeout.
