Job summary

Tenneco Litchfield, a manufacturing facility in the Clean Air division of Tenneco, is seeking skilled welders to join our production teams. You will apply Mig and Tig welding processes to assemble exhaust components, inspect welds, and support cell operations with safety and quality in mind.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and participate in continuous improvement activities within the 5S and Lean frameworks. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Weld using Mig and Tig processes per specifications.
• Set up welding equipment and inspect welds.
• Read work orders, directions, charts, safety regulations.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to read gauges and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment for Mig or Tig to specification.
• Rotate through cells within the team.
• Ensure welds meet quality, safety, and productivity standards.
• Perform safety checks and preventive maintenance of welding equipment.
• Inspect and repair welds as needed.
• Assist in 5S and Lean initiatives.
• Overtime as required.
