Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a skilled welder to join our Missouri manufacturing team. You will apply MIG welding processes, inspect welds, and support production of exhaust pipe components in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate machines or robots, maintain quality standards, and collaborate with team members to meet production targets. A high school diploma and the ability to pass a MIG weld test are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Must pass MIG welding test.
• Effective communication skills required, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Apply appropriate welding processes to meet specifications.
• Inspect and repair welds to support production and assembly of exhaust pipe components.
• Tend to one or more machine tools, robots, or hand welders to machine metal work pieces to specification.
• Meet and exceed production rate.
• Other duties may be assigned.
