Job summary

Tenneco Litchfield is seeking an entry to mid-level Welder to join our exhaust systems cell. You will apply Mig and Tig welding processes, inspect welds, and participate in cell-level BOS meetings to support production and assembly of components.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, can read work orders and gauges, and works well in a team environment with emphasis on safety, quality and productivity. This is an on-site role with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of welding processes Mig and Tig.
• Ability to set up welder and inspect welds.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and safety rules.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read gauges and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding processes to meet specifications for exhaust components.
• Rotate to different workstations within the cellular cell.
• Maintain quality, productivity and safety standards.
• Perform safety checks and basic maintenance on welding equipment.
• Weld and repair parts per specifications.
• Follow plant policies and work instructions.
• Overtime as required.
